THE PORTRAIT PROCESS

01 BOOKING


Mia-Monroe Photography is honored to capture such a monumental time in your lives. These special memories will be forever frozen in time and hold such nostalgic value for generations to come. Please read the following information thoroughly. Afterward, if you would love to continue your booking, please reply to the initial email with your desired date. A booking confirmation email will then be sent with full session details, the MMP Portrait Contract, and your sitting fee invoice. Completing these documents will fully lock in your photo session!

02 CONSULTATION


Next, you will receive a follow up email with directions on booking your phone consultation (your sitting fee must be completed prior to the consultation). I recommend scheduling your phone consultation for 2-4 weeks prior to your photo session date.

During the consultation, we will review the process and chat about how you envision your dream photo session! Discussing your vision, vibe, and intended outcome is crucial in executing the best session day.

03 PHOTO DAY


As we enter into the photo session portion of your experience, MMP aims to make you feel as empowered and comfortable as possible! Our sessions are designed to offer you a one-of-a-kind experience while capturing your beauty and the beginning to your new, beautiful journey.

With fully guided posing & direction, we will photograph all of the right angles and illuminate your best features. From the tips of your fingers to your tippy toes- we have you covered!

**MMP does not limit you on the amount of looks/styles you can do during your photo day. We would love for all of your visions to come to life while you're in studio.

04 IMAGE SELECTION


Because we understand how valuable your time is, MMP does same day soft reveals. Right after the photo session portion of your day, we will review the images we just took in their raw format. Here, you will select the portraits you would love in your final collection. We will also go over all of the high quality tangible memory options MMP has to offer, such as albums and wall art.


MMP specializes in the most details and beautifully curated editing process. Your final images will be enhanced and transformed into stunning works of art you can cherish for lifetimes to come. Retouching includes: Skin smoothing, light body contouring, background perfection, color toning, and more. No detail will go unrecognized.


*At this time, your final collection investment will be transacted.

At MMP, we never place a limit on the number of outfits, styles, or sets you can incorporate into your session. Your session is designed entirely around you, and our focus for the day is on creating an experience that reflects your vision.


Within each collection, you'll find our recommended number of outfits and sets. These recommendations are simply meant to serve as a helpful guide based on the length of your session and the average number of images each setup produces. Keep in mind that the more variety you include, the larger your final gallery will be, giving you more images to fall in love with.



If you're hoping to stay within a particular investment range, following our recommendations can help ensure your final image selection aligns with your budget while still providing plenty of beautiful variety.

** Appointments are taken during the week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays with starting times of 9am hair/makeup, and 11am-12pm photo session.

** Final gallery turnaround time is 3.5-4 weeks

PAYMENT OPTIONS

Never walk away with less than what you want.


MMP accepts a wide variety of payment options. Full payment options are accepted in the form of credit card, check, cash or Zelle. Payments may also be split between a variety of those given.

Payment plans are also available! AfterPay is available to use and is a convenient option at the bottom of your invoice. Or, if you prefer a custom payment plan, we can do that, as well! A minimum of $1,000 is due by the end of your photo session day, and the remainder of your final collection can be broken up in segments of your choice. If your final balance is not concluded before the 3.5-4 week portrait turnaround time, your gallery will be delivered once your payments are complete. **If you know you will need a payment plan, please ensure we chat about it during the phone consultation.
